Fun at the Festival

On Saturday, after we got back from the Outer Banks, we took the kids to the church festival. We haven't been able to go in years because we are always on vacation, so we took advantage of being home.

Emma was immediately drawn to the pony rides. I didn't think she would go on, but sure enough...


She loved the rides, and even requested the $3.00 cowboy hat that came along with it.


After the pony ride, we did a few other kid activities, including getting her arm painted. Usually you get your face painted, but we did the arm so she could see it. She loved the cat that was on her arm...she even gave it kisses (I know that's easy to picture. A little black cat face on her forearm, and her giving the cat little pecks.)

We finished off the festival with cotton candy...blue of course.


Nothing like some sugar before bed.

Poor Jacks, he can't enjoy the rides, so he enjoys the rides in his stroller.
