Busy Week

It has been a busy week with trips, visits, and parties. First, on Thursday we went on a trip to the Hershey Zoo with Emma's daycare (otherwise known as Grammi's house). Emma had a great time visiting with the animals, and Jackson enjoyed it with his eyes closed.

Friday, Mimi came to stay with us while she was at her scoring conference. We love having Mimi at the house. We also had a cookout with Grammi, Pawpaw, Auntie Maggie, Tyler, and the Kline's. Jackson was fussy, but I determined that he has been very uncomfortable since he has been on his antibiotic for his sinus infection. On Saturday, I made the executive decision to take him off it. Daddy calls me Dr. Smith, but mommies just know when their babies aren't feeling well.

Saturday, we went yard-saling in our neighborhood, went for a long walk, hung out at home, played outside, and went out for dinner with Mimi. Mommy actually had some time out of the house with Mimi when they went to the casino. We only spend $20, but we had a great time and won money!

Sunday was spent getting doughnuts in the morning, going to the horse show, then going to the Union Canal Days and riding on the boat through the canal. Emma had a great time and was wonderful on the ride. She loved seeing dogs, ducks, and birds. Later that day we had our cousin Christopher's birthday party where Emma played in a bounce yard, ate ice cream (after her daddy ate her first bowl), and rode around on Christopher's little tractor. Emma also used a hula hoop for the first time. She didn't quite get it, but she looked cute doing it.

What a great weekend with family, friends, and Mommy/Daddy.
