Uncle Toddy and Aunt Jessie's Wedding

We couldn't wait to get down to the Outer Banks for visit number two. Emma continuously told people she was going to the beach, and mommy was ready for some fun in the sun.

After leaving at 11:45 on Saturday night, we arrived at 6:30 on Sunday morning. The kids were wonderful, and Jackson didn't make a peep the entire trip!! Auntie Meggie met us at the door (it was raining) and she helped usher the kids into the house without getting wet. I would have loved the rest, but it was go time setting up the house for the "big day."

Tommy was able to rest his eyes, while some of the men in the house helped me unpack the car. After that, we played with the kids, until an early nap time was arranged. Em may have slept for 2 hours during the car ride, so needless to say, she was exhausted. However, she didn't want to sleep because there is no one she loves more than "Elwie."

6:30, the wedding was here. We were all dressed in our "Sunday's best," anxiously awaiting Jessie.

When we saw her, it was breathtaking. She looked beautiful, and Todd was not too shabby either.

The ceremony was wonderful. The rain stopped, and the clouds gave way to a calmness.

All three of the Hillegas kids were great.

Jackson was entertained by family...

Emma and Ellie were entertained by each other, and sand of course.

Todd and Jessie said their I-do's, and we are now fortunate to have a new addition to the family!

The family was so blessed to be a part of this wonderful ceremony.

Following the ceremony, we celebrated with wonderful friends. To top it all off, the cake was delicious!

(It's a good thing Todd didn't cut it like that. I am not sure if he was picturing something or someone other than cake:))
