Another Rainy Day

Today it rained and rained all day long. In fact, I think it still may be raining. We have spent the past 4 days at the pool, so it gave me some time to relax inside with the kids. Jacks was able to nap at home all day and Em was able to enjoy some quality time with me.

I buy some things to do on rainy days, and since we haven't had too many, I was able to get them out. I had those Grow-a-Bugs, so we did those. She enjoyed that. She loved seeing what they were turning in to.


For a 22 month old, she had good patience.

However, after they grew, she kept wanting to get them out and look at them.




She even kissed them.


For lunch we made our own pizza. For as much as she talks about pizza, and how she wants to eat it for every meal....she didn't eat it at all.

At nap time, we all took a nap. I am not nearly caught up on sleep, but I am hoping to be within the next 3 months. Jacks gave me a run for my money with eating today. Every time I nursed him, he would cry afterwards like he was still hungry. I would have to feed him on and off for an hour or more, until I finally was able to give him a bottle with more milk in it and that satisfied him. Here's hoping that tomorrow is a bit different.
