We had the BEST Easter Weekend, at Mimi and Pop's house.
Lucky for us, our weekend started early, Thursday evening, with Auntie Meghan, Uncle Josh, Ellie and Allie coming over to visit. We had a few friends over and woke up on Friday morning, packed the car, and were ready to head home to Mimi and Pop's for a weekend of fun!
The kids love playing at Mimi and Pop's...there are new things to find and toys that we don't have at home. It was hard to keep Jacks in one place. He was all over, and once he found the stairs and the computer, he thought it would be a fun game to walk to each station, turn his head, get our attention, and laugh once we acknowledged he was some place he shouldn't be.

The girls love playing dress up. They made Pop go upstairs with them so they could jump on the bed. Jumping turned in to dress-up, which then turned into bumping down the stairs with Pop...I don't think Mimi and Pop get ANY rest when we go visit.

The first day we woke up, got the kids ready and were off to our first Egg Hunt of the weekend. A local landscaping company had kids of all ages out to hunt eggs, visit with the Easter Bunny, and make crafts. It was a short hunt, but the kids had a great time.

After the first Easter Egg hunt of the day, we went to Great Nanny and Poppy's house to see them and have another egg hunt. The kids had lunch...well, but you can't really tell...
The kids then bombarded the goody table Great Nanny and Poppy had set up for them...ate some of their candy and checked out the treats.
Finally...the last Easter Egg hunt of the day was held at a high school friend's house. Mimi took Jacks home to get a nap (without the girls...but it didn't really work out that way because he pooped, which woke him up). Em and Ellie (while Allie watched) made sparkle butterflies and sun ornaments. The girls had a great time with each other and hunting candy.

We came home for a "rest." However, Uncle Toddy came by and the girls had another idea. He is able to get them all fired up with his fun activities...such as, supporting them while they "walked on the ceiling..."

Bubbs and Allie just sat by and took it all in...

Until, Uncle Toddy thought it would be a good idea to make Jacks' hair go crazy...
To help tire the kids out before bed...it was time to do some farm work:) Helping Uncle Toddy feed his cows...
Taking care of Rocky and Comet...with their boots on...

Bubbs wanted to get some time in with Comet...check out Comet's mouth.

The night ended with some hay for the ponies. This could not have been done without walking through the puddles.

Easter morning...the kids looked beautiful in their Easter outfits that Mimi bought. Getting a picture of everyone together, was a whole different story.

The weekend culminated with Easter dinner at the Maeulen's house. Wonderful food, even better company, desserts, and an Easter Egg hunt.

We had a blast!!
